Our worst damage is 20 foot of link fence. The dogs still can't get over it so were good. Lots of limbs to clean up tomorrow. Had to wait for the power to come on for our electric chain saw. You can read below it could have been much worse.
Climate change is real.

(34,060 posts)we lost power for quite some time but they lost a lot more in town. Nothing like what you had but it stormed but good, twice. Big lightning but the wind was much tamer than yours.
Came through again this evening and was beautiful to watch then it just cleared up. No idea what is next.
Take care while cleaning up. What a mess that must be.

(6,856 posts)Here in New Orleans, people say storms are also a problem.
But seriously, you guys are facing storms and the west coast is on fire. So what is Summer like in New Orleans? Streetcar Named Desire sweltering hot? No. Its been the Summer of no sun here in New Orleans. Rain every day. Its like a monsoon season, I attribute it to climate change.
It could be an anomaly but I smell a change.
