NEW: President Biden is about to announce every federal employee, including members of the military, and onsite contractors must attest to being vaccinated or wear masks, distance, test 1-2x week. Also asking Pentagon to look into adding Covid-19 to required vaccination list.
The White House says there are 4 million workers (2 million civilians, 2 million members of armed forces and National Guard in federal service) working for the executive branch to whom the new vaccination policy will apply.
White House: Biden "will announce that he is directing the Department of Defense to look into how and when they will add COVID-19 vaccination to the list of required vaccinations for members of the military."

(1,979 posts)For the past several years, getting the flu shot is MANDATORY. There are no ifs, ands or buts. You got your flu shot if you want to work at the VA (except for very very few exceptions). This should not be any different, except for the fact that it has been turned into a political STUNT.
Get the damned shot and MOVE ON. I'm so so sick of these idiots who are bent on destruction, willing to deny science - all in the name of their political god, who is the most un-godly human that walks the earth today.
Protect our elderly and disabled Veterans, put your arm out for your country that you say you love. Get the shot.
