If there is a lesson to be learned from the Turner loss, it is this:

Do not equate a potential nominee of your party to a "bowl of shit" if you have any desire to represent that party in the future. Just sayin

And of course there are others, but this one sticks out.

Hope this will also resonate with party leaders: only Democrats running in primaries.

I can't imagine why she thought she could come looking for votes. She would have been a Ron Paul style dead weight in congress if elected. Thankfully she can go back to trashing the party from the outside.

Most voters didn't know she had said that, and that she had agreed that James Clyburn was "stupid." What dumbass things to say. Bet those ads changed a lot of minds. And Turner had the audacity to call them "lies" and dirty ads. No... they were simple QUOTES, Nina, in YOUR own voice.

So happy tonight!

Yet somehow people think even more progressive legislation could have been passed under a different candidate. Maybe but then again maybe not. Either way, Turner surely knows Biden has surpassed many expectations of what she and others thought he would do.

... and being a "party-switcher" is another one. And voting for Jill Stein is another. Refusing to endorse Joe Biden is another. Refusing to vote for the party's nominee (twice) is another.

The lesson is not to fall for populist crap about a movement/revolution because you imagine Democrats are corrupt immoral evil non-progressive establishment corporatists bribed to ignore the working/middle class, not true Democrats but the same as Republicans except for some "identity politics" and must be replaced, the party "transformed" because The People agree with the populists. Duh.
