Forced birth is a humanitarian emergency.
Such cruelty to women and girls is overwhelmingly disgusting.
How many women who become pregnant during domestic abuse will be beaten so badly by their abusers who don't want a baby?
How many children will have to endure the extreme pain of birthing? How many will have to carry the seed of their rapists, making their trauma unimaginable?
How many will endure a broken pelvis, tailbone or sometimes even bladder/rectal damage during forced births?
Yes. Sometimes our bones break.

(11,010 posts)GOP women, especially the radical evangelicals, are completely ignorant.
They're in an uproar over a shot and fucking masks, yet forced birth is totally acceptable to them.
This is not a good day.

monoclonal antibody treatments that use "fetal stem cell lines" in its production.
I have come to the conclusion that one of the biggest threats to America is right wing
Christian Evangelicals.

(11,010 posts)I wasn't alive when abortions were illegal. I wasn't born yet when abortion became legal.
I never had to hit the street to gain my right to abortion.
The younger women may get a huge wake up call. We're going to HAVE to go the way of our mothers and grandmother's and fight.

(4,109 posts)I think its similar with voting and civil rights, vaccinations, and LBGTQ rights.
There are many young people who never knew anyone who had polio or complications from the measles. Theyve always lived in a US where you can easily get birth control pills and access to abortion was possible. The photos of Colored drinking fountains look like ancient history to them, like the photos of the Prohibition era looked to me when I was a teen and in my early 20s. It seems weird to the kids at work that being gay was kept secret when I was in high school in the 90s.
I am afraid we will all lose hard won battles and rights before things turn around again.

(42,021 posts)Women had to go back ally or scrape up the money to get to New York where it was legal.
Or they could try to find a friend to pee in a bottle to get a bottle to get a clean urine, so a sympathetic doc would do a D and C.

(2,403 posts)Beyond anything else, this sickens me that this has happened in our country.
This goes beyond 9/11, beyond 1/6. This just turns my stomach. And worse
I know it is going to expand to other states. We need to use this to win support and then kick the shit out of it.

(11,010 posts)It's a gut punch because these people are our family members and neighbors celebrating forced birth.
I dont think I'll ever be able to forgive them for this.
The GOP is the enemy of the state.
