Eddie Glaud is on Deadline Whitehouse and said something so true.

Last edited Wed Sep 1, 2021, 05:04 PM - Edit history (1)

He said Democrats and the media are not challenging republicans enough on their lies and need to be more direct like the reporter interviewing Sidney Powell.

He said “the presumption of faith in the democratic process is giving the republicans the space to undo it.”

Bam! That is it!

2. I saw that!

I thought that was without a doubt the most succinct and brilliant statements I have ever heard.

4. Compared to BBC and Australian reporters, the US reporters are lame.

They are not corporate, so no US network will hire them.

16. Even the CBC is better than the vast majority of US media.

One of the CBC commentators responded to Helms and Burton wagging their fingers in Canada's face for not enthusiastically embracing their legislation against Cuba. Can you imagine someone from a network news show describing Jesse Helms as "a decrepit old dinosaur that should be strapped to a gurney?"

6. How would we know if the Democrats are challenging anything?

The media is so hell bent on bashing Biden and all things democratic. So much is happening and there are so many arm chair generals braying their opinions that any work done by Democrats is drowned out with the cacophony of boos.

13. Rachel Maddow signed a multi-year deal with MSNBC ...

but her show will transition to a weekly program, sometime in 2022.

14. Agree-- as always, Dems need to be tougher with their messaging because people don't

see how bad the GOP is in the same way us political junkies do.

19. Exactly

It's like playing a football game where one side uses 22 players, and the other side sticks to 11 out of reverence for the "rules".

At one time, you'd think the refs would step in and enforce the rules, but one side has skewed them too.

But you know what? The fans of the team playing with 22 players don't give a shit about the rules, they're just cheering on the slaughter.
