Democrats need to learn how to bribe lawmakers.

If you can't beat them, join them. It's obvious some lawmakers are accepting bribes. Why not just ask them what their price is?

2. That's what "earmarks" were for.

 

Earmarks were appropriations that would benefit a specific legislators district and their supporters. The leadership would dole them out to reluctant members in order to get their votes.

15. They're not exactly in our ranks at this point.

Only option (until we can make them irrelevant by electing more Dems) is to play their game: Pork, bribes, or Kompromat, or all of the above.
