The DOJ has been much maligned lately...BUT.

Today, October 19,2021 may be a turning point in the battle to regain Our Democracy. And it's the little things, mostly legal, where I see the rays of Justice starting to slice through the dark overcast skies. (Not all are related to DOJ, but those that are show that AG Garland is listening to us and hearing.)

(Disclaimer: Me being one of those critical of AG Garland and the DOJ. However, I am formally issuing my apologies to Mr. Garland and his Dept. However I'll still be watching, please don't disappoint me now.)

Not all of these actions are directly under DOJ control but I believe their influence is being widely 'shared':

Greenburg has his sentencing delayed until Spring 2022 so Law Enforcement can continue to strengthen their case against Gaetz and other's (TFG) caught in the trap. And the timing could not be better - it will put Gaetz in the negative spotlight right smack in the middle of the 2022 Campaign. TFG is going to be fucked without lubrication again.

The FBI raiding the Russian Oligarch's home in DC. The evil of the 2016 TFG Campaign continues to remain in play, and this shows it IS going to be used as another nail in TFG's and his supporters coffins. It also may make Moscow Mitch have more then one sleepless night.

Judge Chutkan has been assigned to preside over the frivolous TFG Exec Privilege lawsuit. She is a fair, 'take no prisoners' kind of judge. The case is in good hands.

Key Jan 6 insurrectionists are being kept in jail. Yes, the sentences so far have been to light IMO, but I am now starting to realize that the DOJ has been working to throw the book at those who are considered masterminds or played key roles. They are not wasting their limited money and resources on the small fry. And we don't know what critical information and evidence the small fry have given up.

The deposition of TFG for civil charges actually occurred.

NY State. Potentially backstopping the 1/6 Committee re Steve 'I Stink like a Sewer' Bannon. And letting the public know.

President Biden supporting the 1/6 committee. And his AG at the same time. The man is a consummate politician. Just having him in the Oval Office gives me real Hope. I don't care if he is a 'Moderate'...he is satisfying my Progressive sweet tooth so far. Even if not much else gets done, IMO he has done more then any President since Johnson to advance the Progressive agenda.

Some other things of note today are Sen Sanders saying his meeting with Sen Manchin was productive. These are hugely encouraging words IMO if taken in context after Bernie's public rant directed at Sen Manchin. And the GOP continues their overreach (around) - thanks Texas for approving obviously racial Gerrymandered Congressional Districts. We don't need election reform to challenge these - again IMO they are clearly in violation of The Constitution and the 14th amendment, if not others.

Whatever the reason, I don't feel the Doom and Gloom I've felt for several weeks and am very optimistic we will prevail IF we continue to actively fight back. The stories I'm seeing on the reliable Independent Internet Media (IIM) sites and from reputable social media posters, if not the corrupt MSM, are very very encouraging.

WE The People are WINNING the Grass Roots battles, but so far it is all under the radar.

Make it So.

how many times is his sentencing going to be delayed because he 'might' have more info? If he hasn't given it all over by this time I have to ask why not and if the Feds are being played by him, maybe willingly.
