Liz Cheney entered this into the record calling out Jim Banks for sending letters to government agen

Recall that Banks was one of the members that Pelosi REJECTED.

On the House floor, Liz Cheney entered this into the record calling out Jim Banks for sending letters to government agencies claiming he is the ranking member of the 1/6 committee even though he is not on the committee.

He is, however, the Ranking Member of a sub-committee of the Armed Services Committee. And he did not specify what committee he was ranking member of under his signature. Very tricky. I would call it clever if he wasn't a republican.

It's sort of like calling Kevin McCarthy "Leader" without specifying he is the Minority Leader, which I've heard Journalists do often.

Could have a bipartisan committee, but the GOP declined that option. Something to hide?

Banks was outside giving a speech welcoming the participants from Indiana. He doesn't have enough clout to worm his way onto the stage and be an official part of it, but he hovered on the outskirts. Just follow the slime trail, you'll find Banks.

So to answer your question, something to hide? Yah, probably.

...Judiciary Committee voted for Nixon's Article of Impeachment, the votes were 27-11 for Article 1, 28-10 for Article 2, and 21-17 for Article 3.

There were 17 republicans on the Committee. All three were "bipartisan", for the third one Democrat voted Nay, one republican voted Yea.
