I am over VA.

Probably some important lessons there that definitely need to be examined but I am over it. TM was not a good candidate and didn’t really say much other than trump bad. It wasn’t enough that he was a Gov before. Additionally it seems that this seems to happen in the off year election cycle there.

Important lessons to be learned for sure but we cannot let the MSM tie this to us like an anchor. Too much work to do and wallowing around about it does nothing to serve us.

Onward. Upward. Go!

After the game coaches and players review film, identify mistakes and get ready for the next game

Since what they don’t do is say (less than a day later) “Screw it. I know our QB broke his leg and our running game sucked… but I am SO done with having to think about it. We’re pushing on from here!”

Yes… they look at film and identify mistakes - but they aren’t done with that mere hours after the loss.

Glad to see that you got over it so quickly. The question remains - has your "getting over it" made reality go away for other things in the past?

Just an extra perspective. I'm told that when a "stages of grief" patient declares that he's already in "acceptance" the day after a loss... he's really in denial about his denial.

That will prevent Texas/Florida/Georgia/Arizona style voter suppression laws.

There was nothing I could have said or done that would have had an impact. Hopefully, the higher ups who do the strategizing will study and learn from it.

We need ways to energize the Democrats to vote in mid-term elections when the President, governor etc are Democrats. I think people get complacent. Of course, other variables come into play as well, but historically we see this pattern over and over.

And that is an age old problem. Which is why I am not losing my shit over VA. It sucks for sure but fairly par for the course. Need to move on to focusing on midterms. And it can’t just be the specter of trumpism.
