How long before Trump stakes out this position?

"I was shocked---SHOCKED, I TELL YOU!---to learn for the first time yesterday about all of these alarming texts that lots of people---good Americans---sent to my Chief of Staff! Mark never mentioned any of these and just kept telling me things were "okay" and "under control".

I had no idea people were being injured or that the Capitol had been damaged!

Mark really let me down and he will have to live with the legal consequences of his disloyalty."

It's just a matter of time before the committee asks him why he texted Meadows and not his father directly. No way he's going to answer that question. He'll go to jail before he does, I'll bet. He's in hot water right now as it is.

But when he does, he risks Meadows pulling out evidence that will bring Trump down.

Trump has that problem with Giuliani. Seems like a standoff at the moment.

It's when it comes down to how much time they're willing to serve that the loyalty gets severely tested.

A bunch of them must have believed that they were going to pull it off or if they didn't, Trump would pardon them.
Maybe a number of them have secret pardons.
