Okay... I changed my mind. I've cancelled my Spotify account. I want to thank whoever it was that posted a link to the "Tune My Music" service which allowed me to transfer my carefully curated playlists over to Amazon music.

Here's the link: https://www.tunemymusic.com/

For no charge, it will transfer 500 songs. If you want more transferred (and I did) they have a $2 per month service charge (paid annually) or a $4.50 per month service charge that can be cancelled before the next renewal.

Once my playlists were transferred, I had no real reason to continue my Spotify membership.

I love my spotify but I'm going to look into this.

But I have to admit my carpool buddy's idea of having all his music physically on his phone (and I think computer) is making more and more sense.

He has like a terabyte ext mSD card on his Galaxy Note.

The bonus is it gets you you tube premium too. No commercials.

Love it! 👍

... but it doesn't play-well with our Alexa devices. I've read that there are work-arounds via bluetooth connectivity and streaming audio from my phone... but... ugh! I'd rather just ask Alexa to play whatever song, genre, or playlist that I'm in the mood for.
