The bill wasn't actually about legislating a rounded value of pi; it was even more ambitious than that. Bill 246 was a bold attempt to attack an ancient mathematical conundrum with the modern blunt force of legislative fiat.
But I think this new bill would prevent that fact from being taught in history classes today.
why didn't they round it to 3.15?
Maybe Hoosiers should take a good look at the shape of our capitol rotunda?
