gutted by the demands of two democratic Senators Sinema and Manchin and the BBB bill that was killed by Manchin.
Clearly President Biden and the other 48 Democratic Senatirs were/are onboard with Bernies message.

And, if 48 other Democratic Senators all favor the legislation, why is it "Bernie's message?"

long time goals of putting people first.
President Biden is on board as are 48 of our Senators. The original more ambitious infrastructure bill would have passed were it not for Sinema and Manchin blocking it.
Like wise for the BBB bill. I would argue that many of these thing would not be even be on the table it weren't for Bernies two presidential runs and him throwing his support behind Joe Biden and Joe adopting some of his very popular ideasThe question is why are you not calling out Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema for blocking the Presidents agenda on these bill that are heavily influenced by Sanders that are popular among the public including the residents os AZ and WVA ?

This is how it's been for years, by the way: Sanders' supporters credit Sanders for everything good that the Democrats do, while blaming Centrists for everything bad that they do or everything good that they fail to accomplish.

I've seen Libertarians doing the same thing on the Right for decades; it's a ploy to legitimize their candidate or views without ever actually having to deliver the goods.

from the status quo of the past. President Biden supported the more inclusive bills as did 48 of the 50 Democrats required to pass them.
No individual can accomplish much of anything on their own. But I would argue the the along with the millions of primary voters that supported Bernie that he brought along with his very popular policies and ideas the party has adopted many of them. The bottom line is that we have an opposing party that corrupt and bent on destroying our democracy and despite that what we saw was a paradigm shift in policy and were it not for two Democratic Senators refusing to vote for these bills the President and party would have passed some historic legislation .

It sounds a lot like when his supporters claimed that he was maintaining his ultimately futile primary bid in order to "steer the discussion."

It's a win-win for his supporters, because there's no way for it to be falsified. If the party does something vaguely in line with any of Sanders' statements in the past five decades, then Sanders gets credit. And if the party does something contrary to Sanders' position, then Sanders' supporters can say "See? You should have followed Bernie."

I don't care to rehash two failed primary bids, in part because I don't feel like re-debunking the multiple conspiracy theories about the malevolent DNC. If Sanders wants to take credit for some general movement by the party, then bully for him. He's had a rather consistent voice during his time in office, so I'm not going to take that away from him.

But if his supporters summarily give him credit, well, that sounds an awful lot like wishful thinking.

Democrats still believe in the same liberal policies they always have. It's a myth that the party shifted to the right and is corrupt, that Medicare for All or the Fight for Fifteen, global climate change, equality, taxing corporations and the wealthy, campaign finance reform, regulating Wall Street, etc. were new and radical ideas that only Bernie talked about.

The success of the ACA made people less afraid of the idea of universal health care, cities and states passing $15 minimum wage laws where everybody sees the economy didn't collapse and the work of the Fight for Fifteen since 2012 made this a national issue, states legalizing marijuana, making college free -- this is how the ideas gain support. When they work, not because someone gives speeches.

don't get that same kind of condemnation for working AGAINST Biden, Democrats and Democracy.

Yet a post about Sanders never fails to bring out the critics even though he works FOR Biden, Democrats, Democracy and the good of working people.

The midterm elections are ON!

Elections in CT, FL and KY today. Bigger ones still on March 1.

Senator Sanders' big talent is motivating people from the stump. He needs to use it to tell everyone to GO ELECT DEMOCRATIC MAJORITIES TO MAKE IT HAPPEN! There are many who've shown they will do as he says, so he needs to speak out!

We see the Lincoln Project Ad/videos here on DU.
To show those to us is like singing to the Choir....................

The so called Uber wealthy Democrats could spend some money, running the Lincoln Project one minute videos during prime time four times a night on FOX Network and other forms of the mass media.................

And yet, in my opinion, they throw around a few million here, few million there, but never independently or by joining together seem to give anywhere near the amounts the Republican Uber wealthy are doing to finance the Republican Party with all their rhetoric.

I guess that all the incredible PROFITS the Uber wealthy Dems earn every year off their principal zillions, and all the MASSIVE TAX CUTS they have received, all come from the Republicans and OBVIOUSLY money talks............

For them to call themselves "Dems" is a joke in my mind...pure lip service...............and goes to show their true, political beliefs..........

have no shame. Like I said, they talk alot, but in reality......nada

They have all shared the same greatly increased profits on their principal as the Republicans, they have all received the same massive tax cuts as the Republicans......why should they give a shit or any money to the Dems.........

They should be wallpapering Fox News prime time and other media prime time with these Lincoln Project ads........
