At some point acting like the crazy guy becomes counterproductive

people stop worrying about what you might do and start worrying about what you might do unless they stop you. With his remarks today he's made Sweden and Finland more likely to join NATO, not less. The people around him have to be wondering what he's going to do next. If you start seeing Russian diplomats asking for asylum in their host countries, you'll know something is about to be up.

Looking at that, and the protests inside Russia, I'm guessing Pootie's a little nervous right now.

and I can't say that I lack longing for a thug to equally match his over-bloated ego.
