It is quite simple. Ukraine is important because there are people there. People who are being attacked for no valid reason.
People will die because of one man.

(1,654 posts)It might not be happening if it weren't for that one man, but it takes a lot of people to support a government and an army. Putin isn't driving those tanks himself.
Virtually all the Russians I know despise Putin. But they'll also tell you he has a lot of genuine support within Russia.
