ABC News poll from yesterday

Normally I don't pay much attention to polls, but it's really bad. Biden's approval is 37%. Republicans leading Democrats for control of the House 49-42%. I don't think we should ignore this. Instead, I'll work to change it by donating to candidates that have the best chance of beating Republicans.

1. This keeps me up at night too.

I JUST do not understand it.

I'm so over Repubs wrecking things, being tossed out and then Americans expecting Dems to fix overnight and hold them to a much, much higher standard.

Lord almighty the amount of isues that fellow Americans only see black/white on whether they are directly affected or not: supply chains, Afghanistan, Omicron, inflation, Russia, Ukaraine, China, 1/6 investigation and prosecution follow-up. One big shit sandwich for the last year.

Thank GOD Biden and Dems were at the wheel.

2. Tie them to Putler and Trump, We need a UKR nation level message campaign notifying Americans

... that the GQP has taken the side of Putler and Trump in regards to being anti democracy.

This needs to be hard and fast and until they turn around their anti democracy measures.

4. It'll go up once COVID fades, but yeah it's really bad now

Also I think Roe being overturned this summer will help us.

7. Both are horrendous

If it's 41% on Election Day, we lose the House.

6. Gas prices.

Dumb voters tend to blame whichever party is in the WH rather than whoever is responsible--in this case Putin and OPEC. Fossil fuel industry *may* do some price gouging to help unseat the "clean energy" advocates.

8. To be fair, I kinda did too in 2007

I was paying more for gas than I had ever had, and blamed it all on Bush.

10. In that case

you were probably right as Bush and Halliburton's Cheney may have been partly responsible. Many even believe they invaded Iraq to help their fossil fuel pals get control of the vast oil fields there.
