Trump fired Barr on the spot !

Told him to not go back to his office, but to go home!

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10574785/Bill-Barr-says-Trump-fired-spot-said-election-fraud-claims-bulls.html

Barr describes more than one loud confrontation with Trump in his forthcoming memoir about working in the White House, One Damn Thing After Another

In an interview he described the moment he offered to resign, after noting Trump was 'angry' over his refusal to accept election fraud claims

'Boom!' Trump slammed his hand on his desk and said 'Accepted' when Barr offered to leave.

It was a stunning end for Barr, whose efforts to summarize the Mueller report were seen as aiding Trump's cause in avoiding consequences.

14 months after the fact. Plan on testifying before the January 6 committee? No? Gotta wash your hair that day? Okay.

I'm sure it was an honest oversight.

What a coincidence. That's my assessment of the Trump Administration as well!

I read elsewhere that Trump rescinded his action and Barr stuck around for a while longer. Sorry but I don’t have the source at hand.

12. As I recall, he did stay around for a couple of more weeks afterwards?

A two-week notice would not look as suspicious as leaving without an explanation....

14. Incorrect! Bill Barr offered to resign in early December 2020

Chump accepted his resignation, then his staff talked him back down.

Barr's resignation went into effect before Christmas in 2020 because he KNEW what a clusterfuck Chump was walking into. He TOLD Chump that he lost the election, there is no BIG LIE, and the insurrection was a huge mistake. Chump wouldn't listen. Chump fucked around and found out.

Not that I think Bill Barr is a good guy, by any stretch. But he's not crazy, and he knew that his boss was out of his mind.
