I am getting sick of political euphemisms.

It seems like there are way too many of them and they are all designed to hide truth.

Lies - disinformation
Bigoted white xenophobic nativists - alt-right
alternative facts - huge lies
Misspoke - caught lying
Out of Context - caught being an intolerant jackass
If you were offended - makes it the receiver of information's fault because they were triggered
Triggered - dismissing the reaction to my insensitivity
Cancel Culture - Why can't I be a jerk in public?
Snowflake - someone with empathy
White hatred - The majority race feels sad
Hollywood elite - Jew
Bankers - Jew
Job Creators - American oligarchs
East Coast liberals - Jews
Right Wing News - Propaganda filled with lies and bigoted dog whistles.
Thoughts and Prayers - Doing nothing to prevent things from happening while sounding like you're doing something meaningful
Religious Right - Statists using religion to control groups they want destroyed
Russian asset - TRAITOR

There are many others.

All these phrase empower the worst of our society to actively dismiss any criticism and gives them a messaging advantage by controlling the language.

We need to stop allowing this. Call it what it is. LIES!!!

I saw how Tulsi Gabbard said the things about (ugh) Mittens and demanded he resign. Some Twitter user called what she was saying "disinformation." Weak sauce. Call it was it is: "The Russian tool was LYING!!!"

I see this language a lot. It allows people wiggle room to save face and weasel out of their crap. We all really should stop using the language of the political enemy (not opponent. They have declared war on us and our political ideology. We need to accept that and fight back).

No more "disinformation." They lie. No more alt-right. They are bigoted nativists.

We need to stop parroting these words. No more euphemisms.

Or, I'll let George Carlin say it better than I ever could:

Carlin was of course one of the forerunners of truth tellers. In fact, there are several comedians on that list—Lenny Bruce, Mort Sahl, Richard Pryor, Lewis Black and others.

Whatever the topic, he'd nail it, and I loved him for it.

But as far as euphemisms - I like them. Although, some of them are pretty stupid.

Thanks for posting the Carlin link.

Politically Correct = Being in any way sensitive to, or concerned about, another person's feelings when a person makes completely offensive statements.

This was very important to the Right until The Defeated Former Guy was elected. Then EVERYONE had to be concerned about saying anything that might hurt his extremely sensitive ego.
