Never ending saga of my wife and immigration is coming to an end soon

My wife wants to try again. This time we scanned everything, even empty blank pages on every document.

On Thursday, I take my physical for my Chinese visa switch and mail off my Teacher Certification and my current FBI Check to the Chinese embassy for authentication (formality since I have the apostille on them).

Shanghai is completely shutdown, but I'll fly out of JFK to go to China.

However, China does have history of closing borders, so my wife is telling me to look in other countries as well. I have an offer in Cambodia for a school leadership position, waiting to hear from Hong Kong after my second interview, have an interview in Thailand, and one in Taiwan.

My wife and I will be reunited. The question now is where. Her father pulled a few strings to help. Let's see what happens.
