I don't normally put stuff like this up because I don't really know much about military tactics and such. But I was depressed about the news from Mariupol and I happen to know if Ukraine can retake Kherson there is nothing behind it from there to Crimea:

1. there is, a very large river

and the Russians will likely blow it before leaving and then reinforce the other side.

Kherson is important for sure, it's the gateway to Odesa for one, but it's not going to make getting Mariupol necessarily any easier.

6. That bridge wasn't subject

To Russian bombing or artillery fire.

A lot harder to do in that situation.

2. Ukraine Marines were able to deter capture and fled from one location . . .

to another location in Mariupol and hooked up with another Ukraine military group all of which are ready and willing to continue to fight to free the city

3. The Russians are afraid of the Azov brigade.

As they should be.

so, at this point in time, Mariupol is still obtainable.

8. When the news reports Russians moving vehicles and planning offenses

Hearing about them being pushed back, from whatever region is great news!
