I have met numerous Russian natives in this country, especially in NYC, and I agree with you completely. I have never met another ethnic group who seems to have no empathy, compassion or concern for anyone but themselves as I have with Russians. They are cold, calculating and only out for what they can get. I am sure there are exceptions, but I have yet to meet one.

I have made it a point to avoid them at all costs.

Because he is correct. I used to live in a large apartment complex that had a sizable Russian population. Everything SmirkyMonkey described is true. I will also add that I have never met a group of people who is so thick skinned and thin skinned at the same time and seem to take an unhealthy delight at breaking simple common rules that a more polite and socially aware people abide by to make the basic act of living in a community more enjoyable. Things like smoking anywhere they wanted when there are clear NO SMOKING signs present, parking at what ever parking spaces they wanted (even if it was reserved for other tenants), eating barbecue and throwing the bones in the pool and hot tub. Where ever they went, they left a bloody mess. They literally behaved like Trolls and Orcs.

The toxic masculinity so present in Russian males can be argued as a behavior found in all society worldwide is true, but there seems to be an unusually high dosage of that behavior in Russian society with the women very tolerant of their men's actions. Before you call me out.... this is NOT a RACIAL problem. It is a SOCIAL problem found in this society. These Russian in the apartment complex I lived in had kids; that were born in the United States who are now teens and young adults. And you what? These second generation Russians don't behave like that. And in many instances were even embarrassed by their parents antics and told them to tone things down where their thin skin very often made them feel slighted at the smallest incident.
