Like Sandy Hook. Fake news. Not real.

This would only add to the families’ grief. Not willing to do it. If the families want to share autopsy photos with lawmakers, that’s their call. But as you said, it probably won’t have much effect with any audience.

I’ve just about given up on this country. Assault rifles just need to be BANNED, like they are in other, more civilized places.

because their kids might see it and be traumatized for life.

I say amen to that, they need to be. People need to know what these weapons do when some punk decides to hunt humans.

Maybe some day cops or EMTs who are brave enough will photograph one of these crime scenes, obscuring intact faces OK, and get it out there before howling, gun loving "Christians" get it censored.

I remember my parents trying to "protect" me from seeing the picture of Emmett Till after his incredibly brave mother insisted on an open coffin and photographers were there. I just hoofed it over to the library and looked at it. We were about the same age and I couldn't believe anyone would do that to a kid. It made me angry, but it was a good kind of angry, it was against bigotry, bullying, the kind of arrogance that focused on skin color as a mark of worth.

And I hope the survivors will be able to get as much therapy/counseling as they need.

N O T H I N G is more important than power and money.

Not even moved by Dead Children.

What a sad society we have become.

some serious untreated mental health issues. At minimal, there are a lot of delusional people, but many exhibit other problems very distinctively. I'm not a coward and I really fear where the US is headed. Just thinking of the damage Trump did ... and imagining him returning or others winning the presidential election (and other elections) that are far worse. The US is very sick and it's spreading. It begins to sound like hyperbole, but clearly it is not.

Those simple, declarative, truculent, confidently ignorant statements on Facebook about--well, everything--whip up the simple-minded. I would never have thought that so many people would so easily join a cult. Not only a cult of Trumpism but of just plain MEANNESS.

However, if one--or many--could deal with the pain of an open casket and the release of photographs of what was done to their child--in the same fashion that Mamie Till-Mobley did back in 1955--it might change the future.

"I wanted the world to see what they did to my boy."
