It would be smart, if the committee ended each hearing with a cliff hanger.

Like they do with episodes of the Walking Dead. You can't resist tuning in for the next episode.

Actually, watching the attack on the capital was like watching the Walking Dead.

A herd of people, functioning with their brain stems only, wandering aimlessly about, crashing into, attacking windows, doors, people, and cops.

Since it's being put together by a TV news producer I'm guessing Liberal In Texas Jun 2022 #1

that near the end there will be what we called "teasers" for the next hearing. Teasers are promos that don't give away the whole story but give just enough information to make the viewer stay tuned.

The old jest that ran around the TV news biz in the old days was the joke promo that said, "Russian missiles headed to the United States! Details at 10."

I am lucky that I can watch it on my phone at my desk at work, but I do have to work. Lots of other people don't have that luxury.

I was really hoping they'd rebroadcast the daytime hearings in the evening, like with Watergate. People who couldn't watch in the daytime could still see the day's hearing.

in prime-time each night cutting together all the hearing highlights. Even an after-the-late-news half hour (like the old "Nightline" time slot) would be helpful.

I don't think that they should rely on the daytime hearing being as effective as the prime-time one.

so I apologize in advance.

What if they ended with a cliffhanger, AND the video paused as credits rolled, like those old 70s and 80s TV shows used to do?

Just thinking of that happening is making me chuckle. Ah, maybe I've finally gone crazy.
