Trump's latest money laundering scheme is right up his fairway

Look into “LIV Golf.”

I’m not sure how they pronounce LIV…it’s the Roman numerals for 54, which is both the number of holes they play on their tournaments and your score if you birdied every hole on a par-72 course, so it could be “el-eye-vee golf,” “live golf” or “54 golf.” But anyway.

The company belongs to the Saudi government. They’re playing nine tournaments, and two are on Trump’s courses. The CEO of the company is major Trump supporter Greg Norman.

Sounds like a racket to me.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sportswashing

Sportswashing is the practice of an individual, group, corporation, or government using sport to improve their tarnished reputation, through hosting a sporting event, the purchase or sponsorship of sporting teams, or by participation in the sport itself. At the international level, sportswashing has been used to direct attention away from a poor human rights record and corruption scandals within a government. While at the individual or corporate level sportswashing is used to cover up and direct attention away from said person's or company's vices, crimes, or scandals. Sportswashing is an example of reputation laundering.

They apparently offered Tiger Woods untold millions to join and he turned them down flat.

is behind the new league. The PGA cancelled a big tournament on him right after 1/6/21. He will do anything to get even and the Saudi's love him.
