Everyone should remember that the GOP anti-regulation and pro-corporation because the bottom line

matters more than their constituents. They love gouging consumers by bank fees, oil prices, food prices, prescription costs. They want their political contributors who own these corporations to be able to dump waste where they want to, pollute waterways, build inferior housing, remove food safety regulations and the rest of the nastiness that hurts ordinary people and protects the privileged.

They're getting on to their real goal of dismantling the administrative state.

Forced gestation/birth imposes daunting costs on working/middle class people, and makes the affected parties that much more financially fragile -- and thereby more desperate when it comes to employment. Overturning Roe is anti-woman, of course, but it is also anti-labor.

Babies are a huge profit center for so many industries. Things made for babies are generally highly profitable in terms of margin. People buy paint, furniture, and bigger houses and new SUV's and all kinds of other stuff.

There's all kinds of cascading profits when people have babies.
