It took me five minutes to find the January tweet. I honestly thought someone faked it to stir up acrimony on the left.
This man has a TV show and is paid to pontificate on American politics. He can't even remember something that happened five months ago. He didn't think to even check his timeline on the issue? He talked a big game about Biden having mental decline and that he was justified in questioning that decline.
With the passing of Eric Boehlert, there is no one in the media that would question Hasan's tweet.

Folks keep saying Dems dont have the votes in the Senate because Manchinema are blocking filibuster reform. Put it to a vote. I want to see all 48 other Senate Dems publicly commit to removing the filibuster on this & other issues like voting rights. I suspect there wont be 48.

Gotta love the craziness of American politics. Just a week after 2 Dems & 50 Republicans refused to do a filibuster carve-out for voting rights - no, no! too radical! - we're discussing who the next Supreme Court justice will be, who'll be confirmed via a... filibuster carve-out.

What's worst he remembers it but posted the first tweet to jump on the attack Democratic trend. Notice how many likes each tweet received.

(58,437 posts)M & S arent't the only Dems soft on fillibuster reform. Perhaps we'd get all 48 on a carve out, but I suspect it would be a shaky bloc.

(3,147 posts)How many Democrats would vote for it is supposition?
He sure as hell won't task his staff to call and survey Democratic senators.

(1,421 posts)then you realize he is mostly aiming the outrage in the wrong direction.
He is a poster child for why we are in the state we are in as a nation right now. Claims to be on the left, sometimes makes some salient points, but inevitably falls back into his default position of shitting on most Democrats.
