Voters did not know what they were in for with a Trump presidency. We had fears, but no concrete evidence of how he would govern. DeSantis is an entirely different story. We have proof of how destructive he is and will be if elected.

(4,845 posts)TFG could position himself wherever he wants on any given issue, and he did for most of them. He is a little left on the first sentence and then went right on the next and people kind of viewed him as a moderate. Once his policies were known in his term, along with his crazy antics, swing voters turned away from him. With DeSantis, his against woke policies and many other right wing policies will turn off those swing voters as well.

Well, at least hes not crazy like Trump or the like.
Hes more normal than Trump said by two panelists and the host on Real Time a few weeks ago.

(30,699 posts)Hes gone way too far to the right already and hes a very unappealing person. I remember when he yelled at the high school kids for wearing masks at a photo op, they were probably just doing what they were told by the teachers. Hes a fucking bully. I guess we just gotta call them the fucking bully party
