In spite of what they say, Faux News and RW radio really want Obama to win.

It's all about ratings.

Nobody likes Mittens. Nobody. Repugs will vote for him because they despise Obama even more.

So what will bring the RW media a bigger audience - 4 years of whipping up the angry mobs against the Liberal/Socialist/Kenyan/Muslim boogeyman, or 4 years of propping up an unpopular president? When Obama wins, frightened, ill-informed Teabaggers will flood to their refuges against the "liberal media".

It's not about Red vs Blue or Black vs White. The only color that matters is green.

I remember the early Limbaugh years...His days of "American Held Hostage Day whatever by Bill Clinton". He was on the rise, had his own television show and was making a big splash. Then Gore lost to Bush and Rush became irrelevant...Sure he made a lot of noise in the early years, supported the Bush agenda, but he didn't really start getting a lot of attention until Bush was massively unpopular with the Republican base...With Obama in office he's seen better days, why in the world would Rush or Fox want anything else different? It's all about ratings and money.

... the major media take in, combined.

We do NOT have an independent media in this Country. It is owned by the same wealthy corporatists who own the military industrial comples (see GE).

5. I wonder about that with folks like Jon Stewart.

He presumably voted for Obama. But don't you think, as he looked at that ballot, he had at least a fleeting thought of what the next four years would be like for him, as an entertainer, if Romney/Ryan won? I mean, his problem for every show would be trying to decide which hilarious bits to leave out to fit the time constraint.

Also, just as you say about Faux and the gang, Stewart could count on higher ratings if he could spend four years making fun of a Republican President.

Jon, if you had these thoughts before voting for Obama, I forgive you. It's only human nature.
