TFG is publicly now admitting he had government documents, being protected by the Secret Service
Is he saying this to set up, and then blame the SS when its exposed some of these documents found their way to our enemies? Did he do this knowing it will be exposed other countries getting these secrets will be exposed, so now he's projecting they are responsible, not him? He does have a pattern of doing this.

2. His being a professional con man, and a serial liar and criminal,
He's very good at denying, distracting, and projecting to escape accountability.

4. That something is usually his underlings taking the fall for his criminal behavior.
Not that the SS aren't politically loyal to tfg, and unmonitored by DHS, but it's possibly what they signed up for, in tfg's case.

5. Con artists tend to toss out BS to test how it's working. His rallies serve as his petri dish. He
takes notice of what BS gets the biggest positive response and incorporates those bits into his routine. The SS has to be at MaLago so it's not like they're there to protect anything but the former office holder and his spouse. The agents may not have been aware he had those docs until the search occurred.

6. Let's hope so
Maybe then the Service will realize they are being used to protect an ongoing criminal enterprise.

7. No, he's just trying to create the illusion that he was safely storing those documents.
He's not trying to set up the Secret Service. He's trying to deflect from the actual crime of theft by trying to make this into a storage issue. He wants you to believe that those documents were safe because the Secret Service was there, and he wants you to believe they are the all-powerful protectors. Which they are not. Who cares that he never should have had those documents in the first place? "There safe. Why are you so worried about them? Let's move along now."
Trump is basically Jake Blues in the sewer, making excuses to Carrie Fisher standing over him with a gun, as to why he stood her up at the altar. He's a cornered rat, and he's flailing and making up every excuse he can. This is just his latest. |

9. Sorry orange one, that's not their job. And you weren't authorized to have top secret documents.
The lies get dumber and dumber.

10. He is confessing and trying to paint the best picture he can of the crime he committed.
It was just a "small number of boxes".
Clinton and Obama and GHWBush took millions of documents with them when they left office. (The National Archives has shot down this story) The Secret Service and "others" were guarding the documents at Mar-a-Lago. (Except for the ones found in his office) There was no crime. There was "no crime", he repeated himself. (There was a crime. A very serious crime) Look at what everybody else did. He sees that he cannot stop the information from coming out so he wants to put his "spin" on it before it is digested by the public. |
