4. Indeed! Sometimes they release pressure on the fault and you're done for a while...
sometimes they're a harbinger for something larger coming. I've lived in SoCal and Western Washington, both fairly active areas, but not as active as South Alaska. Stay safe and keep your earthquake survival kit handy.
