...and to hurt Democrats.

Maybe they should have to pay a little price for their "partisanship"?

May a small increase in the gas tax might be appropriate?

Don't gas prices go up EVERY summer as Americans hit the roads? Biden opponents just took advantage of regular seasonal fluctuation to score political points in an election year. Prices always seem to fall in the autumn.

It's still 50 cents higher here, but I am betting it goes down further over the next week or so.
