NY State experiencing "swatting calls" about active shooters.

Per Buffalo NPR, several swatting calls across NY State have been made today claiming falsely that there are active shooters at specifically named schools.

Swatting is making false claims about a person, place, or group in order to cause a police or swat team response to innocent people.

Or, possibly some MAGA gun worshippers promoting fear in the general population.

Reports so far in the Albany (state capital) area at the eastern end of the state and two at the far western end at Lockport, North of Buffalo.

Latest report says some calls also made in PA.

There's going to be a "cry wolf" effect. Pretty soon the LEOs will start ignoring the fake calls ... until it's suddenly a real call. This is an act of terrorism, making this series of fake calls.

5. That's a possibility that I've considered, too.

A couple weeks ago, there were fake calls about bombs. Now it's about active shooters.

At one location today (not sure which) the call came from inside the school.
