McCabe later sued the government & got back pay & his position restored so he'd be eligible for the bigger pension.

Then maybe a couple years from now they'll decide to do "investigative reporting" to finally acknowledge that the GOP was "weaponizing the government against their 'enemies'" by holding hearings about "weaponizing the government" that utilized non-existent or paid "whistle-blowers", which at the end, resulted in no definitive proof of the existence of such "weaponization" by Democrats, but instead underscores what Republicans were actually doing against Democrats.
