anyone have experience with cushing disease with dog

Spilled water on computer last night and now shift doesn't work so no capital.

so 800 later with vet i am told dogs probably has beginning cushing. didn't get lots of info but that not painful and not curable, medicine doesn't really show to work, doesn't extend life. i read on net that dogs have average about two yrs but could be up to four.

does anyone have experience with cushing

you cross-post in Pets, as well. I think several posters there do have experience and information.

Yes, my Boston had it. He was 13, keep yous comfortable. Seizures are usually the main concerns, vet can give you a sedative for that. Not a lot of other options, it's a degenerative type of disease.
Love on that puppy!

chaste berry or chaste tree. Can be purchased in powder, pellet or liquid form. Google vitex for equines. You can feed this to dogs, start with low dose and increase. Must be on it for rest of life.

Because cushings in older horses is very common, as my horses have aged they have all gone on vitex and lived to be in their mid-thirties. I originally bought it to control the behavior of the mares. I don't recommend pellets as they are hard. Liquid or powder. Also powder or whole berries (don't recommend whole berries) can be purchased on -line from herbal suppliers.

And stopped eating.

Set a weight drop limit and then book the euthanasia. I waited until my dog couldn't even bark, and I regret it.

They just stop eating. Really sad.
