Steve Scalise wore a mask on the House floor today...but he tweeted this 2 years agoErie Siobhan@ErieNotEerie·3h
Steve Scalise tweeted this two years ago. Today, Steve Scalise is wearing a mask on the House floor to protect himself after undergoing treatment for cancer. Funny how one’s opinions change once they are personally affected. ![]() ==== GOPers are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites.

4. When this jackass was shot in the ass at the Congressional softball game . . .
on his return to the House he made an exceptionally stupid comment about guns. Even more exceptionally stupid than usual from this exceptionally stupid man.
I've tried to find the quote but so far bupkis. Does anyone remember what he said then or can point me in the direction of it? |

6. Is this what he said...
“I was a strong supporter of the second amendment before the shooting,” he said, “and frankly, as ardent as ever after the shooting in part because I was saved by people who had guns.
“They saved my life. But they also saved the lives of every other member. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jun/12/steve-scalise-shooting-gun-rights-interview |

9. Well he's immunocompromised now, and I'm sure his health care team recommended it.
Too bad he won’t tweet about that.

10. The MSM needs to pursue this until he acknowledges that
his personal situation is one that would consider not wearing a mask, suicide. Anything short of a full acknowledgement that his life now depends on wearing a mask is a full failure of the medias responsibility to hold leaders to account.

13. Guess it was evolving science after all, wasn't it, Steve?
The kind of government control you have in mind for us makes mask mandates pale in comparison, though, doesn't it, Steve?

16. I'm sure his party will wear masks to protect him, like the democrats mask to protect Jamie Raskin
It's such a kind thing to protect vulnerable and immune compromised people. Does anyone know how many republicans wore a mask today to protect Steve?
