If he was cheating so much on his NY property evaluations, wouldn't he have been doing the same on his properties outside NY? How long before prosecutors in other states and countries take a hard careful look at what he claimed those properties to be worth?

(23,833 posts)priced way underwater, why? With this in the news constantly why has the local governing body been so slow to look into accurate pricing of these properties? In MO, we get a heads up every 10 years (it may be a shorter interval of time) of our properties' appraisals and of course, if we wish to appeal the new appraised value(s), we can.
So either someone was bribed at the offices of those entities where tRUMP properties are located at, or something fishy going on.

(3,521 posts)They were not above bilking their own companies...big bonuses for closing the deal were on the line. If they turned him down, he would just find another banker who WOULD make the loan. The risks they quietly took on for their investors were outweighed by the personal gains realized.
They also feared the retribution he would unleash in the business community if they did not make the deals. He is a mobster...not a businessman!
