Their strong pathological personalities are very similar and will clash?

Both very strong egos, narcissistic, ruthless, power and money hungry.
Both love attention and the limelight.
They will do anything to get their way.

Vance is backed by very big money which Trump loves but could end up hating.
There is room for only one top dog.

Vance brings in a great deal of money from his rich minders.
Trump wants that money.
Vance wants to be POTUS so may play ball for the short term.

But that aside, they may be too much alike to get along for any length of time.
