Why I think we will overcome gerrymandering

We should fight fire with fire, but in the end, the gerrymandering won't matter in who controls Congress.

As the recent polls are showing a trend toward Democrats in the generic polling, some as high as plus 5. I actually believe it's greater than that. As evidence, I cite the real polls, the recent scheduled and special elections. The average increase for Dems is 13 points above Harris' vote. That translates to a D+11.

If you move, on average, every CD in the country just 8 points to the Democrats, no amount of gerrymandering, anywhere, will prevent a Speaker Jeffries.

We need to register voters, generate enthusiasm and GOTV.

basing new districts on ai analysis of presidential results might translate into more close races that could flip IF we find and support good candidates

Gerrymandering can only move district lines; they can't artificially manufacture voters.

There will be no voter intimidation or suppression.

The Democratic Party needs to ignite flame throwers and go scorched earth.

Voter Intimidation is how Tom Kean Sr won the Governor's race in NJ by 1,797 votes in 1981. Roger Stone's dirty tricks sparked the Consent Decree In the now defunct VRA.

I repeat:
New Jersey. 1981. Roger Stone.

Not Mississippi or Texas. There is nothing to protect Northern States (Blue) from the next round of "Flying Squads' . . .

Except for Black Americans willing to risk arrest to meet the Flying Squads with Harriet's Women Gun Clubs. ETA: I believe they will follow us home. They need to understand what will happen if they step foot on our property.

I really need folks to meet the moment.

The magapubs are inherently evil and they only understand fear and intimidation. We can get away with things in NJ that they can't in Texas.

Who is going to stop us? Scott Presler? Who has set up shop here and was two blocks away from me at county magapub HQ talking about suppression and intimidation against Blue voters? He's Roger Stone's lap dog.

It's enough. My Grand Daddy and his father always voted in Talladega, Alabama. They knew he was armed and would use it. It's 1919 folks - not 2012.

A lot of Republicans and Independents will have to switch to Democrat.

In Texas they take 2 districts where Democrats won and make it one district. One of the elected Democrats will be gone.

The 11 most gerrymandered districts across the country, 10 are rigged for Republicans.

It goes on with both sides and is just the way it is. It also makes the districts so hardline one way or the other, that the phrase "safe seat" doesn't do it justice.

Most people do not realize the precise science that goes into re-drawing congressional lines. Arguments will literally come down to sides of a street. That's how close the computer models create districts. Once the seat lines are drawn, it is nigh impossible for the other side to win that district.

Can you imagine the Republicans ever winning AOC's seat? That's how "safe" the districts become to either party...Impossible to win. The problem is that the Republicans have more population in states like Texas to shuffle around, thus creating more safe seats for them.

i think there r only so many ways to slice up the electorate. i dont see how they do it w/o weakening others.
if the magats r disillusioned enough by next yr, it bites them in the ass.
