Does anybody doubt that the reaction from Fox, Drudge, et al been very different if the AP phone records been gathered under the Bush Administration?
I am about 100% sure that the reaction would have consisted of:
-- A weepy discussion of the need to keep our "brave, courageous CIA operatives" safe.
-- An open questioning of the patriotism of the AP and its staffers.
-- Publication of personal information about the editors and reporters involved.
-- A call for the editors and reporters involved to be prosecuted for treason.
Does anybody seriously doubt that?
