Introducing Huggies TweetPee! A smart phone app that tells you when to change a diaper

From Jennifer Campbell, Executive Editor of Design News: "I'm a social media junkie who loves reading about and testing new technology. I'm also the mother of an almost 2-year-old. When I first saw the Huggies TweetPee, I immediately thought, "This has to be a joke." Sadly, I was wrong.

TweetPee is a smartphone app with a clip-on, bird-shaped humidity sensor and wireless antenna. (You can guess where the bird goes.) When your baby wets a diaper, a message is sent to Mommy's (or Daddy's) phone."

1. I find this hilarious.

I suppose it could be helpful for parents or caretakers of babies with chronically sensitive skin, and so they don't have to check down the pants every 15 minutes.

4. Well yes, but you see you have to answer the phone and read the message so you know what........

the kid is loudly caring on about.
Then on you're way to the kid's room you use you're Iphone to have you're Parrot AR.Drone deliver a fresh diper.

6. The downside is -- you have to put your phone into their diaper.

8. Seriously?

It's pretty easy to know when it's time to change a diaper. If it's wet or dirty, it needs to be changed. Might not be a bad idea for parents to actually *tend* to their babies once in awhile, instead of being paged to do so.

9. Holy crap!

What a horrible idea.

Having as little contact with your kid as possible is a wonderful idea!
