Now that freedom reigns in California (though we still need to wipe Prop 8 off the books), what states are the logical choices to come up next? Illinois was a huge disappointment but I am sure they will come around. Other than that, my money is on Hawaii, Oregon and Nevada. What do you think?

They'll be likely to do it as quietly as possible, they don't want any fanfare to wake up the priests and preachers.
The state is shockingly civilized, we even got rid of the DP a few years ago.

(46,436 posts)Alaska will be number 50. I think we were one of the first states to pass a constitutional amendment saying that marriage is between one man and one woman. That aside, we had quite a celebration here on the day of the Supreme Court ruling. Alaskans these days aren't nearly as hateful as their legislators.
