Are the Republicans trying to maneuver Pres Obama into taking the blame if 'entitlement programs' are changed? and just prior to 2014 elections?

If the IMF is calling for the rich to carry a heavier burden in the maintenance of nation-states, you know this argument has already been won. The United States, of course, is behind the curve and slow to catch up, but higher taxes for the rich are coming, I think. Supply-side economics has failed. It appears that the rest of the world knows it.

Added bonus: boy, would that tie rich knickers in a knot.
