A possible solution to the canceled policies?

This week, the Republicans will propose that these folks with canceled individual policies have their policies restored.

Perhaps a better solution would be to give all of them the "Bronze Plan" from their exchange and to subsidize them for the difference in their last individual premium?

In that way, they would not be stuck with a nearly worthless product and they would get coverage at the same price as their individual policy.

Also, this would keep them in the program and keep its integrity intact. With the costs that the insurance companies were charging for these policies, the ACA program would lose very little by offering the Bronze Plan to these canceled policy holders.

Of course, the repukes wouldn't stand for it because they don't care about the people getting their policies cancelled, they only want to damage the president and poke holes in the ACA...

is that it would not put them back into a plan that had little to offer. This just happens to be one of those glitches that need to be fixed. I'm sure there will be more.
