we had thanksgiving dinner on Wed. No way I want to coke and eat all that food and then think about working! Both my husband and I work today (at hotels). I've got a 12 hr shift over night starting at 7pm. He's got a 10 to 12 hr shift starting at 1pm.

Neither of us get a bonus or overtime for working today (they do give him a little extra PTO configurement), but I'm salaried, so nada!

solution to this. We can not go shopping today. As long as the companies rake in $ the practice will continue.
