...for dogs. She has a starfish with "It mattered to that one" tattooed on her foot. She is my hero. She never has much, goes without, to save dogs. This story always makes me cry. It always makes me think of my Leroy who, without Leah, I never would have met, and I would not be the person I am today without that 15 year old Cocker Spaniel who made that short 14 month journey in and out of my life.
