1. K/R It's past time we outlaw all fireworks not conducted by professionals.

 

I'm sick to death of celebrating noise, bombs bursting in air, and war.

What this does to animals, people, and the fires caused is just, frankly, embarrassing.

2. And it often starts a few days before the 4th and goes

 

on for a week or so after.

I don't have PTSD, but I think too many idiots are setting off fireworks.

Some years ago some idiot set off some kind of fireworks that landed in a barn that held the hay for the horses at the racetrack in Phoenix, AZ. Forget just how long it took the to get the fire out.
