How Many Years Should Governor McDonnell Get? Linked poll.

5 week trial, 1 cutthroat defence, 3 days to convict 2 liars...what took so long?

I already voted.

Max.

There is no greater example of the high crime of political corruption in an age of escalating corruption. Time to nip it in the bud and set the precedent for the others on the pathway to justice and a jail cell.

"Sentencing was scheduled for Jan. 6. Each faces up to 30 years in prison. After the verdict was read, FBI agent-in-charge Adam Lee said the bureau will "engage and engage vigorously in any act of corruption".

"Assistant Attorney General Leslie Caldwell, head of the Justice Department's criminal division, said the state's former first couple "turned public service into a money-making enterprise.""

Which set off a rush on Depends by Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, Ron Paul and the others still unnamed to the public. Can a certain ex-mayor of Wasilla be far behind?

..............

Sorry about ads.

Edit: Sentencing is January 6, 2015. WTF?

I don't know how many counts Blago got convicted on - but he was put away for a long time. McDonnell should get something comparable.

of McDonnell, nor any politicians that engages in bribery or corruption, but it is long past time to rethink our Corrections System (jail, prison, ...whatever you want to call it)

just as I believe ALL non-violent crime should be dealt with through restitution, community work and other alternative means... I don't think Bob McDonnell should be incarcerated... that just costs society more money...

...unless a person is a serious threat to society if not incarcerated, "corrections" can be better handled without incurring the great cost of housing people (and that includes ALL people) in a jail
