The NFL left it open with "indefinite suspension" meaning they'll bring him back once the storm has died down and Rice has completed his "counseling". Given that other players with assault/domestic violence charges on their rap sheet were playing last weekend it's only a matter of time.

I don't see him back this season but the suspension will likely be lifted before training camps start up next year.
