Good thing we started our years long bombing war in Syria before Afghanistan combat operations end

I'd hate to have seen what would happen if we had any period of time not at war. I shudder to think how it would hurt our economy.

For those scoring at home, US combat operations in Afghanistan are set to officially end December 2014. Of course, just under 10,000 troops will remain there as we go into 2015, at which point they become non-combat kind of troops like the ones we are moving into Iraq.

Feed the machine. Just keep feeding the machine.

We get most of our imported oil from Canada and Mexice.

It has to do with the military industrial complex. Eisenhower warned us many years ago, and we did not listen.
