Obama should remind Republicans how much they respected "the electorate's voice" in 2008 and 2012

They could care less. Those Republicans who managed to remain in office those years claimed they were elected to do their job and they planned to do just that regardless of how well Obama or other Democrats did in their own races, and they never bothered to stop claiming that they spoke for "the American people" whenever they disagreed with Obama.

And, oh year, many millions more of the American people voted in 2008 and 2012 than voted in 2010 and 2014

Sorry. My response was not a perfect fit your post.

I was referring more to the lack of respect the Republicans have shown Obama rather than respecting the voter mandate. Republicans act all indignant and expect Obama to respect THEM now when they have never respected Obama and the votes that put him there..

"we are going to hold this president-elect ACCOUNTABLE for his actions" after the 2008 election. (Anderson Cooper, Bill Hemmer, Wolf). I was shocked because I never remembered this kind of comment about Bush in 2000.

Election results only matter when the Republicans win.

And I thought that the Corporate Media had made that clear to everyone.

They met in a secret meeting after President Obama won in 2008, before he was even sworn in, to plot ways in which to destroy his Presidency.

They have no respect for the electorate's voice or the democratic process at all.
